A new model – from healing to social change

There are two models in all aspects of our lives: the old and the new. This applies to the healing paradigm too. The old model is the one held by the medical science, psychology, psychiatry and all holistic healing forms. Despite their differences in approach and beliefs systems, they share a common ground: they view healing as an aim and as an achievement, and illness as an accident or as a punishment.

Through CWS Coaching* I propose a new model: I view education as the goal, the healing as a result of it, and illness as the result of lack of this education.

The “treatment” or “healing” model is manifestly not working.
From the medical standpoint, if you try to treat your high cholesterol, you are likely developing diabetes 2 as a “side effect”. If you try to “treat” depression with antidepressants, they may make you even more depressed or even suicidal, not to mention the cascade of other issues caused by these drugs.
If you try to “heal” whatever issue through holistic medicine, therapy, spiritual practice, you will find that you’ve healed one, just to discover more aspects that need “healing”. And once that healing done, then what? You go back to the same old routine? If you haven’t learned and put in practice something new, that healing would be short-lived.

I am not saying that if you are ill, under treatment or therapy to stop them. Obviously, if you have gotten to that point, you need to ensure your survival until you learn how to reverse the process.
I am talking about a whole new paradigm in approaching life: from bottom-up or from top-down?

The bottom-up approach is that used by the old model. It is based on the belief that we are either the result of some random genetic mutation or a faulty creation – being of God or aliens. In this model, we are completely ignorant of our functions. We spend our youth in school to learn about everything but ourselves. We spend the rest of our life pray to external forces and beliefs adopted on faith – being scientific or religious.

In this model, we have delegated the duty and the power of learning about our functions to the “specialists” in who we are: the scientists, the doctors, the priests, the faith healers, the therapists, etc.
In this old model, the society only works if there are problems needing fixing. You need illness to sell drugs. Doctors, healers, researchers, therapists need patients to earn a living. You need wars to manufacture and sell guns, those making them, to have a job, etc. You need a confused, depressed public to sell motivational seminars, and so on.

In this old model, the society is motivated by problems, not solutions. The solutions are the reward, the promise of ease from the problem. As Chinese say, “Problems are good for business! No problems, no business.”

All in all, you need ignorance and money for the current social structure to survive. Without ignorance and a money system to maintain it so that just a few get the goods and the rest get the dust, everybody would have the highest incentive to learn as much as they can about themselves, about life and its mysteries.

This is the new model. I know, I might be ahead of time by hundreds of years, but we must start somewhere if we really want to solve our issues, survival being one of them.

The transition from a monetary system to a free exchange is not going to happen overnight. In the state of oblivion that humanity is at now, it would create more havoc than provide solutions. You need to have a highly evolved society, especially spiritually, to ensure that the cave man’s killing, hoarding and gathering old habits are long gone. But we need to start now to see it happen, even if we won’t be here to see it. We need to start by shifting the balance. Instead of giving our money to the old system, we need to empower the new.

Buy from the farmer, buy knowledge from those who have high moral values and true noble intentions, not just that of making a living. The more you know about yourself and life, the broader your perspective, and the more autonomous you become. And that is the point when the transition begins to take place. When people know a lot, then their true gift will shine. Some will still be healers, others doctors, others bakers, builders, but this time they will do so as a vocation and not as a “job”, as a path, and not as a way to “earn a living”.

Because the highest human need is that of being wanted, appreciated, loved, cherished, and because its correspondent – the best human satisfaction – is that of being of service, we will see taking place the free exchange of “gifts” and talents. There would be no advantage taking at that level, because the more you know about life, the more you realise that, indeed, we are all one body, one stream of energy having multiple perspectives.

I have seen and lived in this kind of reality, and this is the direction required from us to evolve to. But I am only a messenger. I need you to help the message take life.
